Summary

CBP announces that effective July 23, 2026, a Fish and Wildlife Service final rule amending the shellfish definition under 50 CFR Part 10 will exempt certain squid, octopus, and cuttlefish products imported/exported for consumption from FWS declaration, license, and clearance requirements, changing the tariff flag for listed HTS codes from FW2 (must file) to FW1 (may file).
