CBP announces that an ACE update removing the EPA exemption for antique engines for non-road vehicles is now available in the ACE Certification environment, with entries rejecting if remarks code '9' is used for 3520-21; production deployment is still expected no earlier than August 5, 2023.
Electronic Export Manifest – ACE Certification (CERT) Deployment of New Response Messages Today
CBP deployed new Electronic Export Manifest response messages (codes 600 and 232) to the ACE Certification environment for trade testing, with production release tentatively planned for July 25, 2023. Trade and software developers submitting via EDI should update their systems accordingly.
