Updated Guidance: Processing Approved Section 232 Product Exclusions
CBP updated guidance on processing approved Section 232 steel and aluminum product exclusions, eliminating the prior email requirement and describing how exclusions are activated in ACE weekly, filed on entries, and refunded via PSC or protest.
Electronic Export Information (EEI) – New Automated Export System (AES) Informational Response Message has been deployed to Production 2/7/2023
CBP announces that a new AES Informational Response Message (26C) has been deployed to production to alert filers when the USPPI Address State and State of Origin fields do not match on EEI filings, per Foreign Trade Regulations compliance guidance. Filers must correct and retransmit any mismatched data, with AESTIR Appendix A updated accordingly.
