CBP issued a correction updating the ACE CATAIR Error Dictionary on cbp.gov, clarifying that error 818 (LIC/CERT/PERM NOT ALLOWED-ENTRY TYPE) is generated when an aluminum or steel license is submitted on entry summaries with entry type codes 06, 21, or 22. Technical questions should be directed to the assigned Client Representative or ESAR.

CBP announces that, per DOC direction, Steel/Aluminum import licenses (LPC=01/28) are no longer allowed on Type 06 FTZ withdrawal entry summaries in ACE, effective July 27, 2021, since such licenses belong on the FTZ admission instead.
