CBP corrects a previously announced CERT deployment date, clarifying that the APHIS Lacey PG06 country code update will be implemented in the CERT test region by close of business on March 8, 2021.
For APHIS Lacey, a change will be made to the PG06 country code, on March 8, 2021.
CBP announces that for APHIS Lacey filings, the PG06 country code XO will change to XZ, effective in the CERTIFICATION region by March 5, 2021, with updated CATAIR/implementation guide documentation expected by March 12, 2021.
UPDATE: CBMA Chapter 22 HTS Computation Codes update.
CBP announced that Chapter 22 HTS records in ACE were updated so that classifications with certain IRT Class Codes now use an 'X' Computation Code, requiring filers to determine and transmit the correct IRT rate themselves per CATAIR Appendix F.

Reminder APHIS Core Message Set Implementation
CBP/APHIS reminds trade that starting March 15, 2021, APHIS will fully enforce the Core Message Set in ACE by changing the severity flag from warning to reject, requiring message set data for regulated products like plants, plant products, animal products, and live dogs or entries will be rejected.
New In-bond Export Date validation in ACE Truck Manifest EDI message
CBP is adding a new validation to the ACE Truck Manifest EDI messages that will generate an error if an in-bond export date precedes the arrival date, with deployment scheduled for ACE Certification on March 10, 2021 and ACE Production on March 20, 2021.
