CBP announced that the issue causing ACE Entry Summary transactions with GRI-3 sets to incorrectly receive Cargo Release reject 119 has been resolved, and filers can resume normal submissions. A prior deployment fix was no longer necessary.
Drawback Filing Reminder for Section 301 and/or 201 Duties
CBP reminds filers that drawback claims involving Section 301 and/or 201 duties must report both the Chapter 99 and 1-97 HTS numbers, along with quantity and value for each line item, matching the order in the underlying ACE import entry.

CBP reports that ACE Entry Summary transactions with GRI-3 sets are triggering an erroneous Cargo Release reject (error 119), and a fix is planned for deployment on Thursday, January 28; filers needing earlier release can use a two-step cargo release/entry summary process in the meantime.

CBP announces that the effective date for requiring an Aluminum Import License Number on e214 filings, part of the Aluminum Import Monitoring and Analysis System, has been delayed from January 25, 2021 to March 29, 2021. Licenses will not be required for covered aluminum imports until the new effective date.
