Update: Import Duties on Imports of Aluminum Derivative Products
CBP corrected an ACE system error that had wrongly required Section 232 duties (HTS 9903.85.08) on certain aluminum derivative HTS classifications since March 12, 2025, fixed as of March 27, 2025, and instructs filers to submit PSCs or protests to obtain refunds for affected entries.

CBP extended the deadline to October 1, 2025 for using the ACE Document Image System (DIS) to submit CBP Form 1302A Cargo Declaration, and outlined updated requirements including a new supplemental .xls manifest document code (CBP168) effective April 1, 2025.
