Chile Will Soon Provide Electronic Certification (eCert) Data to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)
CBP announced that Chile will begin sending electronic certification (eCert) data to USDA's FSIS for FSIS-regulated products exported to the U.S., eliminating the need for paper certificates, with implementation expected by March 31, 2025. Importers and brokers are advised to check with software vendors regarding ACE filing updates.
