REMINDER: FDA Outages Up To 3 Hours Sunday Morning August 25, 2024
CBP reminds trade that FDA systems, including the interface with CBP and the Prior Notice System Interface, will experience planned outages of up to three hours on the morning of August 25, 2024 due to a cloud migration and maintenance. Filers are advised to submit Prior Notices early and not resubmit entries during the outage.
Issue with data not loading for some universes in ACE Reports
CBP notes an issue causing data not to load for several ACE Reports universes (Entry Summary, Cargo Release, Multi-Modal Manifest, In-bond, and PGA Message Set), which is under investigation, and states a follow-up CSMS will be issued once resolved.

CBP updated the Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) Implementation Guide with additional optional data elements to improve shipment and party identification, and recommends service providers update their software accordingly. The changes have been deployed to production, with testing available in CERT.
Update to AES to Revise the Name License Code C68 (NAC) (NO notification required)
CBP announces an update to AES revising License Code C68 from NAC to Advanced Computing Authorized (ACA), including new reporting requirements for AES filers to avoid fatal errors.
ACE Update to Prevent PSC Change from Non-quota to Quota Entry Type Set to Deploy September 23
CBP announced that on September 23, 2024 it will deploy an ACE update preventing filers from changing an entry via Post Summary Correction from a non-quota entry type to a quota entry type, returning error B64 if attempted. The change aligns ACE with existing PSC Test Federal Register Notice rules limiting entry type changes to 01-to-03 and 03-to-01.
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Supplemental Guide Version 2.5.11 is Now Available
CBP announced that FDA's ACE Supplemental Guide version 2.5.11 has been published, updating references to align with PE CATAIR and FDA Product Code Builder and revising Appendix B CFR references, with no ACE requirement changes.

Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 Aggregated Shipments, Release 2 is Now Available for Testing in CERT
CBP announces that Release 2 of the Section 321 De Minimis $800 aggregated shipment validation is now available for testing in the ACE Certification Environment, covering updates to Cargo Release, Truck Manifest, and Multi-Modal Manifest processing.
UPDATE: DIS Enhancements for Vehicle Document Submission Set to Deploy September 28
CBP announced a September 28, 2024 deployment of Document Image System (DIS) enhancements enabling EDI submission of vehicle export documents, with new system messaging triggered when certain title/ITN conditions are met without a VIN or PIN. Testing in the Certification environment began no later than August 24, 2024, with further schema updates to follow.
