CBP announced an out-of-cycle invasive maintenance window for the ACE Certification environment on February 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET.
Executive Order 14068 “Taking Additional Steps with Respect to the Russian Federation’s Harmful Activities” – Guidance on Non-industrial Diamonds and Diamond Jewelry and Unsorted Diamonds.
CBP explains that, effective March 1, 2024, importers must upload a self-certification statement via ACE DIS for entries, entry summaries, and FTZ admissions involving non-industrial diamonds, diamond jewelry, and unsorted diamonds subject to Executive Order 14068 as amended by E.O. 14114, which restricts imports connected to Russian Federation origin. It details the required certification language, DIS document coding, and notes further filing requirements will follow once ACE enhancements are deployed.
